The Poor Boys Futurity was founded with the notion in mind that a stallion owner shouldn’t have to pay $25,000 a year in incentives to market their great performance stallions. The founders felt there should be an incentive program that offers a low annual incentive fee along with affordable nomination fees that aren’t due until a horse is of competition age. They wanted to see affordable entry fees, better marketing campaigns, higher payout percentages, transparency, honesty, integrity and most of all, the ability for the every day breeder to participate in an incentive and marketing program that REALLY WORKS without breaking the bank!

They also felt that many of the performance horse futurity events were taking place in the central and southern United States and wanted to provide those living in the Western US with an opportunity to compete closer to home.

Our first event is scheduled for November 3-4th in South Jordan, Utah and will consist of a Barrel Race, Team Roping and Breakaway Roping! Please stay tuned as we provide more updates and information!
